Hurdle Headlines Hot Stove Luncheon
Clint Hurdle, Pittsburgh Pirates Manager, was the Keynote Speaker at the Indianapolis Indians Hot Stove Luncheon that took place today. Watch Hurdle and Indianapolis Indians Manager Dean Treanor speak here.
31 years after helping the Indianapolis Indians to the 1982 American Association championship, current Pittsburgh Pirates manager Clint Hurdle returned to help make the Tribe’s 2013 Hot Stove Luncheon a rousing success.
Hurdle, along with Indians third year-manager Dean Treanor, gave attendees at the annual event a look back at the successes of the 2012 season and a glimpse forward at the potential of both the Indians and Pirates in 2013. The Pirates manager also reminisced about his run to the championship with Indy back in 1982 and raved about how far the city has come since then.
Overall, those in attendance at Luncheon, hosted at the JW Marriott across from Victory Field, left with fond memories of a season ago and excitement for the future in both Indianapolis and Pittsburgh.
